Each day has its own opening float and close count. Enter the float when you set up and the counted cash at close; expected close and variance come from what's been logged that day.

Move cash: sell till → buy till
When sales cash goes over to the buy station. It leaves what the sell till should count and adds to the buy till. Sales totals don't change.
Zettle for the day
Type the day's total exactly as Zettle shows it. The logger backs out the 3% and compares to the digital sales logged, so a mis-tap between cash and digital shows up as a gap.
